Bindi Irwin has asked fans for help naming Australia Zoo’s new koala joey.

The 24-year-old wildlife warrior took to Instagram on Wednesday to share adorable photos of the newborn marsupial snuggling up with his mother.

‘Crickey! Wildlife Warriors, we need your help,” she wrote.

‘Our beloved koala joey needs a name. Comment your best name suggestions below and tag a friend to do the same.

“Together with #AustraliaZoo we will choose the best.”

Fan suggestions included Clara, Pip, Joey, Euie, short for Eucalyptus, Snuffles, Bubbles, and Coco.

While many raved about the ‘cuteness’ of the baby animal, others suggested naming it Steve, after Bindi’s late father, or Olivia, after Australian icon Olivia Newton-John.

“He’s Joey and you already have a Chandler… so Ross, Phoebe, Monica or Rachel,” one fan joked, referring to Bindi’s husband.

It comes after Bindi’s fans raved about the star’s latest family photo amid rumors that she is expecting her second child.

The mother-of-one shared a photo alongside her brother Robert, mother Terri, husband Chandler and daughter Grace Warrior on Tuesday, wearing the famously radiant clan.

Another added: “They really are making a beautiful family.” While another wrote: ‘What a sweet, loving and beautiful family. And very kind.

It comes amid rumors that Bindi is pregnant and will soon be making an announcement alongside Chandler.

Women’s Day sources close to the couple have alleged that the lovebirds will announce the big news ‘at any moment’.

The publication alleged that the conservation duo were waiting for Chandler’s parents Chris and Shanna, who reside in the United States, to arrive in Australia for his birthday to break the happy news first.

“They expect to officially announce that another baby is on the way any day now,” a source reportedly told the publication.

“They also can’t wait to give Grace a sibling close in age. They really want a boy, since both Bindi and Chandler grew up with a sibling each and loved it.

The source went on to say that “Bindi is sad the baby months are over” and hopes to give her 20-month-old daughter, Grace Warrior, a sibling “sooner rather than later.”

Bindi has already hinted to her mother that she could be a grandmother for the second time and [her mum] Terri is over the moon just thinking about it.”
