Sosandar touted a record quarter of sales as women picked up suits and dresses in the run-up to Christmas.
The “sexy and chic” womenswear brand said customers are shrugging off the rising cost of living and turning to more expensive products.
In the last three months of the year, Sosandar’s turnover was £11.6 million, up 30 per cent from a year earlier.
Christmas record: ‘Sexy and chic’ womenswear brand Sosandar touted a record quarter with sales of £11.6m, up 30% from a year earlier
The company did not disclose earnings, but said it was in the black for the fifth quarter in a row.
Sosandar said the average order was worth £106.37, up 11 per cent in a year as women opted for more expensive items such as outerwear, suits and party dresses.
Sosandar was founded in 2015 by Ali Hall and her co-chief executive Julie Lavington after they quit their jobs running the fashion magazine Look.
It is one of the fastest growing fashion brands in the UK and Hall and Lavington believe it could become one of the biggest fashion brands.
But shares in the company fell 2.3 percent, or 0.5 pence, to 21.5 pence, as the pair warned they are “highly vigilant” amid “challenging” economic prospects.
