Video of the incident posted on social media shows the large spill flowing from an upper deck of the ship onto another level of the ship.
The incident occurred on the Harmony of the Seas as the cruise was headed to Cozumel in Mexico, according to reports.
Royal Caribbean officials confirmed in a statement to DailyMail.com that no damage was reported and no one was injured as a result of the incident.

The stunning video documents the ‘waterfall’ coming from the upper deck and landing on a lower deck as the ground begins to flood.
The ship’s passengers can be seen laughing, running, and taking photos and videos as the water continues to fall.
The ship and its captain had taken emergency measures to avoid a suspected refugee raft in the ocean after visiting CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private Caribbean island, on Monday.
The twist caused water on Pool Deck 15 to overflow and spill.
The water trickled down to Deck 8, where another pool was located.

Royal Caribbean officials confirmed in a statement to DailyMail.com that no damage was reported and no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Some guests seemed unbothered by the floodwater at their feet.
A Royal Caribbean spokesperson shared the following statement with DailyMail.com on Monday regarding the incident:
“On Tuesday, January 3, the Harmony of the Seas spotted a raft at sea and maneuvered to provide assistance. This maneuver unexpectedly caused water from the pool deck to leak onto a lower deck of the ship.
“Fortunately this was promptly handled and cleaned up by our team, and there were no injuries or damage.
‘The 7 night Caribbean cruise continued to the next destination as planned.
“The raft was empty and Royal Caribbean provided details to the United States Coast Guard.”

According to Cruise Hive, the water is most likely coming from the beach pool on the starboard side of the ship.
Fortunately, our team managed and cleaned up immediately, and there were no injuries or damage,” a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said.
Cruise Hive reported that crew members had seen a possible refugee raft while traveling through the Florida Straits.
Based on the cruise centered outlet, the water is most likely coming from the beach pool on the starboard side of the ship.
Some water may have also come from the Splashaway Bay attraction, also on deck 15.
Cruise Hive reported that the ship’s crew was seen “cleaning up the spill and drying the deck to minimize any side effects” after the incident.

No one was injured and there was no damage in the incident.
The video shared by an Instagram user has been viewed more than 84,000 times and has received dozens of comments.
