The lavish residence, on one of the suburb’s best streets, was later lowered to $8.8 million to $9.3 million after a slowdown in demand for properties priced at more than $10 million.

However, the property has doubled in value over the past decade, with records showing that McLachlan and his wife bought the home for $4 million in 2012.

The luxurious six-bedroom house is one of two houses in the suburb that has a tennis court.

The luxurious 1,189-square-meter property also features a swimming pool, outdoor entertaining area, butler’s pantry, double garage, and open-plan living area with a bar.
