Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles writes a heartfelt birthday message to her granddaughter Blue Ivy on her 11th birthday: “You are so special!”

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, was a doting grandmother when she wished her granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter a happy birthday on Sunday.

The 11-year-old, who once bid $85,000 for a pair of diamond earrings, looked almost as tall as her 5’7″ grandmother in a photo Tina, 69, shared of the two on social media. .

The fashion designer looked modern in a black and white polka dot jumpsuit with the sleeves and rolled up legs as she stood with her granddaughter on the beach.

The young singer, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother Beyoncé, donned a classic black blazer over a white top and pants. The tween styled her hair in loose curls and wore wire-rimmed sunglasses.

In her heartfelt message, Tina shared that the day Blue Ivy was born was one of the best of her life and admitted that she hoped the girl would arrive on her birthday, January 4.

But, “getting to know you and your personality now, I realize you needed your own day because you were a queen and you are very special.”

She listed her granddaughter’s many talents, many of which she seemed to have inherited from her mother, as well as her 53-year-old father Jay-Z.

Blue also narrated the children’s audiobook, Hair Love, about a father learning how to do his daughter’s hair, in 2020.
