The former Coronation Street star, 32, admitted she was “really nervous” to share the news, but felt she needed the surgery as her breasts “got really saggy.”
While still recovering, Helen, who split from footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair in October, said she underwent surgery in a bid to “feel more confident”.
She also explained how her decision had been influenced by a reduction in her bust from an E cup to ‘not filling out a B cup bra’ caused by breastfeeding her three children.
While refraining from showing the results, the newly single star said in the vlog: ‘Hello, I wanted to appear here. I’m actually very nervous to share this, but I did have a boob job.
I did it on Thursday. Yeah, so I’m in recovery right now. I’ve been really nervous about sharing this, because you always get some not-so-nice comments or whatever.
“But yeah, it’s something I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence.” I’ve been so nervous about sharing this. I’m obviously very pro-body-confident, and very much for other women, but supporting women in whatever choices they decide to make.’
