Dog the Bounty Hunter places some of late wife Beth’s ashes with her mother who died in November

Dog the Bounty Hunter helped fulfill one of his mother-in-law’s last wishes.

The 69-year-old reality star, who is dealing with some legal issues of his own, made sure that some of his late wife Beth Chapman’s ashes were buried along with hers.

TMZ reports that one of Bonnie Joan Johannsen’s wishes was to be buried with her daughter and when she died in November at the age of 82, Dog, birth name Duane Chapman, gave some of Beth’s ashes to her sister, Melinda, who placed them with Bonnie.

The mother and daughter had a sometimes rocky relationship, but they patched things up before Beth died after a long battle with cancer in 2019.

The outlet is also reporting that parts of Beth’s ashes have been scattered in places that were important to her during her life.

“Now I understand what it really means to rest in peace,” the Dog and Beth: On the Hunt star explained. “I hope Beth can now rest in peace.”

Dog remarried in 2021 and now lives with his wife, Francie Frane, in Colorado, where they run Light Up the Darkness ministry, which provides services to victims of sex trafficking, including housing, counseling and job training.
