The comments came quickly.
“You should be able to tell your own kids apart, even if they’re identical, wake up,” one person wrote.
‘This is horrible, I can’t believe you took your babies to a tattoo parlor. Bad upbringing,” wrote one woman.
Some said fake tattoos were a dangerous “backup idea.”
“There are so many nasty chemicals in those things, please don’t use them on your children,” said one woman.
“This is tacky, they will wash up and it shows you don’t care about them enough to know who they are,” said another.

While others shared ‘better’ ideas the next time she decides she wants to be able to tell the kids apart quickly.

‘Give them different bracelets, babies don’t need tattoos,’ said another.
While a third suggested wearing nail polish on their hands.
‘Give her an earring,’ said another woman,
Others liked the tattoo idea.
“It’s actually a great idea, just add a freckle or something to one, so you can tell them apart,” one person said.
“You can get a doctor’s note to get a stitch behind the ear, FYI,” said another.
