A source told the publication: ‘The casting team is excited about the signing. It’s a really positive move to have more diversity on screen, especially since there are so few blind people on TV.
“Ron is a great guy, he has a lot of friends and is passionate about sports, he loves golf and recently started boxing.
“He is also very open about his disability and hopes to raise awareness and help others by discussing it on screen.”
