And now Alexandra Mardell has gone from soap opera star to commercial break highlight, having appeared in an ad for Aldi supermarket.
Voicing a talking sausage casserole, the 29-year-old actress hilariously shared the clip with her 125,000 Instagram followers for a laugh at her latest concert.

Corrie star Alexandra, who first came to The Cobbles in 2018, worked with the supermarket chain as part of its latest ad campaign.
He used his Leeds accent to announce that the saucepan he was touching was only £2.69.
As the camera pans over to the piping hot saucepan opening the lid, Alexandra says, “Only £2.69!”
Posting the announcement to her fans, Alexandra wrote: ‘I am… Sausage Casserole!

It comes after Alexandra managed to bag the glowing ball trophy in the Strictly Come Dancing holiday special.
The Coronation Street actress went head-to-head with the likes of Nicola Roberts, Larry Lamb, Rickie Haywood-Williams, Rosie Ramsey and George Webster in the festive episode.

Strictly Come Dancing’s holiday lineup also included professional dancers Nadiya Bychkova, Neil Jones, Amy Dowden, Luba Mushtuk and Giovanni Pernice.

To kick off the festive extravaganza, the group performed a sensational routine featuring a festive medley of Let It Snow, The Nutcracker Suite and Santa Claus is Coming To Town.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, the dance competition judging panel also returned with Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse in full force.
After each couple had performed, the quartet of judges gave the performance a score of ten, which was combined with the audience’s votes to produce a final result.
Ho ho ho: The professional Kai certainly got into the spirit with a Santa costume, completing the look with a faux gray beard and matching eyebrows and hair.
Congratulations! The couple couldn’t contain their smiles as they seemed happy with the big win.
And after the votes were tallied, it was revealed that Alexandra, best known for playing the role of Emma Brooker in Coronation Street, had managed to take the win with Kai.
I am so shocked that I cannot thank you enough. I’m so happy about it, I did it for you. [Kai] besides, I can’t believe it’, said an excited Alexandra.
The holiday special also marked the return of former judge Bruno Tonioli, who took the stage to perform during the show.
