Lacey Chabert confesses she would take part in Party Of Five reunion: ‘100 percent sign me up’
Lacey Chabert is giving Party Of Five fans hope.
While promoting her new Hallmark movie The Wedding Veil Expectations, the actress confessed that she would be in favor of reprising her role as Claudia Salinger for a Party Of Five reunion.
Chabert, now 40, was just 12 when the family drama began its six-season run on Fox, along with her co-stars. neve campbell (Julia Salinger), Matthew Fox (Charlie Salinger), Scott Wolf (Bailey Salinger), and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Sarah Reeves Merrin).

chabert said Good day DC from Fox that she would jump at the chance to revisit her character, Claudia, more than 22 years after the show ended.
“I don’t know if there will ever be a reunion, but I would love to,” she enthused. ‘I’m 100 percent signing up! I would love to know what Claudia is doing.
The Mississippi native seemed to light up at the idea of a reunion or a reboot as she reminisced about her time on the show, which covered from when she was 12 to when she was 18.
“And you know what’s really cool, because it was six years of my life, which is a unique experience,” she shared, before elaborating on her experience on a long-running show.
Star Power: Party Of Five also starred Jennifer Love Hewitt, who played Sarah Reeves Merrin, Bailey’s (Scott Wolf) sensitive and on-again, off-again high school girlfriend.
“It’s unusual to be somewhere for years, you know, and they’re familiar to me,” Chabert explained. “I think about who I am today and how much, a lot of it, is the result of that wonderful group of people, and you know, we’re united and forever connected.”
The drama series centered on a family of five who are forced to live alone after their parents are killed in a car accident, and the eldest son, Charlie, is named guardian to his brothers and sisters.
He made stars out of Campbell, Fox, Chabert, and Wolf, who were previously unknown. Hewitt, who guest-starred, already had a singing career. She later became the show’s biggest star thanks to movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer and the TV series The Ghost Whisperer.
Both Chabert and Neve Campbell have found success in film and television after Party Of Five ended in 2000.
More television success: Matthew Fox, 56, starred in the hit series Lost (2004-2010), which earned him a Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
Party Of Five won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Drama in 1996, after which ratings and popularity grew for most of the rest of the series.
While some stars like to put their previous roles behind them and not talk about them, Chabert admitted that she finds it flattering to be remembered for her past characters.
“People ask us that all the time, like it gets old, and it kind of doesn’t,” she shared. “Any time you’re a part of any kind of project, you do it with the hope that it resonates with people, and that people love it and enjoy it. So when people mention projects that you’ve done years later, I think it’s a compliment.
Casting success: Jennifer Love Hewitt starred in several hit movies, including I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its sequel the following year, while Scott Wolf found more success on TV and in movies.
