Chanelle Hayes took to social media on Thursday to insist that she is “completely fine” after breaking down in tears over her mental health issues.
The 35-year-old Big Brother star said he “likes to keep his social media transparent and reveal what my real life is like” rather than create an illusion.
The makeup-free reality star asked followers not to judge her, as she thanked them for their support after she collapsed on Wednesday, saying: “Please don’t judge me.”

In the video, she said: “Please don’t judge me for the fact that I’m in the same outfit, in the same place, just with extra grease in my hair and a pair of glasses.” For the rest I am exactly the same as yesterday’s post.
“Just wanted to say thank you all for the lovely messages of support and sometimes feeling the same way and the recognition that life can suck.
‘Anyway, I’m not going to bore you, I just wanted to let everyone know that everything is completely fine.

Chanelle admitted that “being an adult is hard” and that she doesn’t like to put on a fake smile on social media because “things aren’t always great.”
She continued: ‘It was just one rubbish day in a really rubbish week. I like to keep my Instagram reflective and transparent to what my real life is like.
“A lot of people just post highlights, which is completely fine, they share what they want to share, but sometimes being an adult is hard and social media can be really boring.”
“You see all this stuff about everything being great, but you just sat there not feeling so great, so my post was about showing how it’s easy to put on a smile and highlight the good stuff when we really could use the realization that things aren’t always are like that.” Great.’

It comes after Chanelle sobbed on social media as she admitted she feels “lost and overwhelmed” after a “crappy” start to 2023.

Chanelle shared a makeup-free photo with tears streaming down her face along with three other shots edited in stages to reveal a glamorous selfie to show that all is not as it always seems.
She wrote: ‘Happy new year guys…or nah? I haven’t really posted much over Christmas and New Years as I had a lot of work to do for both my degree, actual work and then obviously trying to squeeze all of this into spending quality time with family. It’s been a lot. I feel challenged.
“I feel a little lost and overwhelmed by how quickly the years go by and that I may not move anywhere with them. As if it was stuck.

The reality star also has a wedding to plan after getting engaged to Dan, 40, last year after a mutual friend introduced them during the 2020 lockdown.
Chanelle said she now feels confident enough to wear a wedding dress after losing nine kilograms after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery in August 2020, which dropped her from a size 18 to a size 10.
