Former Today Show meteorologist Steve Jacobs is forced to scrap his lush island getaway: ‘$250 a night for absolute paradise’
Steve Jacobs took to social media to promote his luxurious Vanuatu getaway, dubbed The Boat House, for the bargain price of $250 a night.
The 55-year-old former Today meteorologist posted a photo of the stunning property on Instagram on Wednesday night, hoping to generate some business.
In the image, you can see an impressive deck facing crystal clear waters.

Several of Steve’s 20,000 fans were quick to congratulate the scenic snapshot.
One follower said “he looks so calm and relaxing” and another posted a love heart emoji.

Steve’s website says the property is ‘situated on the southern edge of Port Vila, Vanuatu. An oceanfront abode steps from the island’s serene turquoise reefs.

Steve was dropped from Today in 2020, following the announcement that the show would be relaunched with Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon as hosts.
Taking to Instagram after his layoff, he said he was looking forward to spending more time with his daughters, Isabella and Francesca.
He is a loving father of two daughters: Isabella, 11, and Francesca, nine, whom he shares with his ex-wife Rose, whom he divorced in 2018.
