Debra Jo Rupp joins Marvel’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos…likely reprising her WandaVision role from Ms. Hart opposite Kathryn Hahn
Just weeks after Patti LuPone joined the cast of Marvel’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Debra Jo Rupp joined as well.
While no details on her character were given, it seems likely that she will reprise her role as Ms. Hart from Marvel’s WandaVision.
The show is a spin-off of WandaVision, which centers on Kathryn Hahn’s chaotic character Agnes, who was revealed late in the series to be a powerful Marvel Comics witch named Agatha Harkness.
Cast: Just weeks after Patti LuPone joined the cast of Marvel’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Debra Jo Rupp has also joined the cast.
Reprise: While no details were given about her character, it seems likely that she will reprise her role as Ms. Hart from Marvel’s WandaVision.
Rupp appeared in five episodes of the nine-episode series WandaVision as Mrs. Hart, the wife of Vision’s (Paul Bettany) boss Arthur Hart (Fred Melamed).
It is later revealed that she is actually Sharon Davis, and that her husband is actually Arthur Davis, as they and the rest of the Westview residents are unknowingly under Agatha’s control.
Rupp returns alongside Hahn and another WandaVision star, Emma Caulfield Ford, who returns as Sarah Jones, who played the character of Dottie Jones under Agatha’s control.
Episodes: Rupp appeared in five episodes of the nine-episode series WandaVision as Mrs. Hart, the wife of Vision’s (Paul Bettany) boss Arthur Hart (Fred Melamed).
They will be joined by newcomers to the franchise Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata and Patti LuPone.
WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer will return to write and produce the series with Gandja Monteiro (Wednesday) also serving as director.
Production began in mid-December in Atlanta for a few days before the holidays, with production expected to resume this week and run through May.

The series is expected to debut on the Disney Plus streaming service in late 2023, though a date has yet to be set.
Rupp will also reprise another famous role, That 70s Show’s Kitty Foreman, on Netflix’s That 90s Show, premiering on January 19.
She played Kitty Foreman during all eight seasons of That 70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be Marvel Studios’ 12th television series set within the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It will also be the fourth Marvel show to debut in 2023 on Disney Plus, following Secret Invasion, Echo, and Ironheart.
Disney has yet to release dates for any of these shows at this time.
