Lady A’s Charles Kelley celebrates six months of sobriety: ‘It’s my second half of life’

After postponing his tour, Lady A singer/guitarist Charles Kelley celebrated six months of sobriety last Saturday while vacationing in the Bahamas with his family.

“This is the first time I’ve actually set tools,” said the Georgia-born 41-year-old. men’s health Monday.

‘It’s my second half of life. I’ve lived 25 years one way, and it was a lot of fun. It was amazing. Now I have this whole second half. Alright, that was fun. I did. Now I’m ready to do this.

After his stint at a treatment center last summer, Charles continues to attend regular men’s recovery meetings, as well as exercising six days a week.

On December 22, Charles released his new single As Far As You Could, which he described as his “farewell letter to alcohol”.
