President Biden appeared to have lost his ball during a round of golf while on vacation in the US Virgin Islands, where he and his family enjoy warm 81F temperatures and endless sunshine.

The mishap occurred Friday while the 80-year-old president, who looked sporty in a white polo shirt, blue shorts and a cap, was golfing on the 18-hole course at the ultra-luxurious Buccaneer Beach and Golf Resort in Christiansted, St. Croix.

The octogenarian was photographed with his 16-year-old grandson, Robert, who some family members refer to as ‘Hunter’.

Two secret service agents scrambled to help the nation’s leader find his ball in nearby bushes as critics question whether Biden is mentally fit to run in the upcoming presidential election.

Biden, who spent Christmas in the White House, has been spending time with his family on an extended break on St. Croix at the 17th-century tropical estate that has plenty to keep him busy, including tennis, three beaches, two freshwater pools, and restaurants galore on the 340-acre property.

The president is not scheduled to return to the White House until January 2.

Apparently some hotel guests were amused by the presidential sighting and took some photos.

After the not entirely successful golf game, Biden went out to dinner with his entire brood at one of the best restaurants on the island called Savant in downtown Christiansted.

The president dined with his wife and first lady Jill Biden, and their grandchildren Hunter, 16, and Natalie, 18, by their late son, Beau Biden. Her daughter Ashley and her husband Howard Kerin also vacationed on the island.

When some reporters asked Biden at the restaurant about the upcoming 2024 presidential election, he quipped, ‘Is an election coming up?’ He went on to say that ‘2023 is going to be a good year.’

While no official decision has been made, Biden has previously said his intention is to seek re-election in 2024.
