Amanda Holden celebrated New Year’s Eve in style when she joined her daughters and husband Chris Hughes for a holiday to remember.

After celebrating Christmas in New York, the family has continued their travels with a trip to Mauritius.

Staying at a luxurious five-star hotel, Amanda, 51, took to Instagram to wish all her followers a Happy New Year as she saw it end 2022 with a family meal.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge got into the party spirit with some 2023 gold prop glasses after enjoying oysters and champagne.

She wrote: ‘Happiest of nights to all of you. Here’s a cracked 2023, before adding that her husband took the happy snaps.

amanda said Mirror: ‘I want my husband to see me doing it because at home he wouldn’t trust me to do half of it. It has been strange that they have allowed me to tile something.

‘I want him to let me get bogged down physically more. It has been much more satisfying to know that we have done it and that there are walls that we have made, and that they are not crooked or falling.

We’ve made mosaics… we’ve made lights, we’ve made the whole kitchen out of cinder blocks.

The TV personality told her husband earlier this year that she wanted to move out of the luxurious Surrey mansion they bought in 2015.

The mother-of-two said she is bored with the house, which is on the market for £5m, because it is too perfect and there is nothing left to improve.

He gave the lavish property a showbiz makeover and expects to make a £1.5m profit after spending £3.5m on the five-bedroom house seven years ago.
