The producers of Love Island have made sure to cause more drama as the series returns for its third winter edition next year.

A source told the publication: ‘The inhabitants of Casa Amor have always been able to relax knowing that the people they are paired with are miles away.

‘Well, not anymore, if there’s a wild party, the main village might as well hear it.

“This year, it could really be a case of having trouble with the neighbors as the bombs try to separate couples.”

It comes after the Winter Love Island villa was revealed, with sources telling MailOnline that the South African mansion is the “best villa” yet.

Work on the mansion is currently underway ahead of the series’ launch on ITV2 and ITVX next year, with show bosses making the safety of the islanders their top priority after previous villas have seen intruders breaking through.

With Winter Love Island off the air for three years, show bosses have pulled out all the stops for the new batch of islanders in their quest for love and romance.

It is also environmentally friendly as the property is 100% isolated from the grid, allowing it to generate its own electricity, water and numerous sources of food.

The stars of Love Island’s inaugural winter series are believed to have lost £500,000 in “missed opportunities” as the country went into lockdown shortly after they left the villa.
