We spend Christmas Day completely naked while our guests wear clothes

A husband and wife duo have admitted to spending Christmas Day stark naked, while their guests remain fully clothed.

Helen Berriman and her husband Simon have revealed that they celebrate Christmas completely naked.

The Bromley couple decorate the tree and even cook their turkey completely naked.

Helen said they’ll have a completely normal Christmas exchanging presents, playing board games and raising a glass, however she and Simon will be totally nude, “with the exception of our cookie hats.”

She said: ‘However, we have to turn up the heating.’

Helen was introduced to Simon’s naturist lifestyle after they chatted on Facebook in 2015, they knew each other at school, and now she enjoys never having to choose an outfit to wear.

But it took until 2020 before she was brave enough to join him.

However, now that she has parted with her clothes, she admits that she would not go back and would even quit her job at an optician to write for a naturist magazine.

Helen said: ‘We are looking forward to another nude Christmas this year.

“Some people look at us like we are completely crazy, especially when they find out that we organize Christmas. But it’s all about accepting your body and making everyone feel comfortable.’

Helen’s teenage daughter, 15, and her mother, 75, accept the couple’s lifestyle and now don’t think twice when they open the door in all its glory.

Helen admitted: “My daughter told me I was weird at first, she’s very supportive now, although I don’t think she’s willing to join in.”

Helen and Simon host Christmas dinner and do everything from exchanging gifts to preparing a feast stark naked.

“Some people have made nasty comments, suggesting we’re swingers or sexualizing it, but that’s not really the case.”

And while they now have no qualms about exchanging gifts or cooking a turkey in the nude, Helen was initially hesitant to adopt Simon’s naturist ways.

“He told me that he preferred to live a clothing-optional lifestyle,” she said.

Although Helen is now completely comfortable with losing her clothes, she was initially hesitant to embrace the nudist lifestyle.

“I told him that was fine by me, but that he had to wear clothes when he was in the house and he didn’t want any of that.

“After a while, he started getting ‘caught’ around the house naked, ‘forgetting’ he was coming home early and still walking around naked.

“I was more concerned if it bothered my daughter, but when I asked her, she said it really didn’t bother her at all.”

It was a ‘reverse life painting event’, where a clothed model is painted by nude artists, that Helen embraced the nudist lifestyle.

Helen has said that since embracing the naturalistic lifestyle, she has even helped her 15-year-old daughter form a healthy attitude towards body image.

Helen said: “Afterward, as I had a cup of tea with everyone, I was very relaxed and realized they were just a bunch of lovely, normal people.”

“I decided to take off my dress too and surprisingly nothing bad happened. No one was sick and no one was judging.

“I realized that I had wasted 20 years of my life worrying about what people think I should wear. Everyone has scars and stretch marks, it’s nice not to have to worry about covering them up.

‘It even helped my daughter form a healthy attitude towards body image. She thought it was weird to begin with, and so did my mom.
