Azealia Banks leaves Sydney headed to Melbourne for rescheduled gig
Azealia Banks flew out of Sydney Airport on Sunday, ahead of her rescheduled show in Melbourne that evening.
The American rapper seemed relaxed despite the recent controversies and cancellations that have plagued her Australian tour.
The 31-year-old man was strutting around the terminal holding a vinyl record and dragging carry-on luggage.

She opted for a modern look for her flight, which included a red crop top with long sleeves, worn partially unbuttoned to show off some bust.
The singer added a pair of knee-high lace-up leather boots with high heels and a platform sole.
Azealia donned sunglasses for the trip and wore several necklaces, as well as a watch and bracelet.

“I’m so sorry guys, I’m not really sorry, but listen: last time I was in Brisbane and you guys threw shit on stage and almost almost hit me in the face with a fucking soda bottle or whatever it was. that shit,’ Banks tweeted this week.

The incident Banks is referring to actually occurred at the Listen Out Festival in Melbourne in 2013, where a fan threw a beer can at him while he was on stage.
Taking into account the comments following the announcement of the new show in Melbourne, fans were quick to point out the above incident and express confusion as to why Banks added another date.
“Ok, so you cancel Brisbane because of a drink-thrown incident in MELBOURNE back in 2013, but then add new dates for a Melbourne show…?” one user wrote.
Banks tweeted that he will be “paid in full” for the canceled show, telling fans it won’t be rescheduled because he has “stuff to do.”
“Girl you realize Melbourne bottled you not Brisbane,” added another.
Meanwhile, one fan wrote: “I thought you said there is no rescheduled show.”
Banks’ appearance in 2013 lasted only a few minutes, as he decided to cut his performance short due to audience behavior.
He was performing his song ATM Jam, when an audience member threw a beer can onto the stage, causing Banks to walk off and cut the music.
In a statement at the time, Banks’ management wrote: “Azealia Banks was forced to cut short her performance last night at the Listen Out Festival in Melbourne on October 5, 2013.
Banks’ appearance in 2013 lasted only a few minutes, as he decided to cut his performance short. She was performing the song from her ATM Jam, when an audience member threw a beer can onto the stage, causing Banks to walk off and cut the music.

“This was as a result of an audience member throwing a full can of beer at him on stage.”
“The incident made Azealia and her scene crew feel unsafe. Banks would like to apologize to those fans in the audience whose experience was affected by an individual’s behavior,” the statement continued.
Banks’ current appearance in Australia was thought to have been the end of a disastrous tour, after planned concerts in Melbourne and Sydney were postponed due to “visa issues”.
The rapper apparently agreed to play Brisbane on the 2022 tour after her initial reluctance if security measures were tightened, but later backed down claiming her requests had been ignored.
“After this race, this will be the last time I tour Australia,” he said.
“This place makes me completely miserable and I’m too black and beautiful to have a bunch of white people to my face playing me for their weak currency.”
