Jade Thirlwall recreates Lil’ Kim’s iconic 1999 VMA jumpsuit look for her 30th birthday bash
Jade Thirlwall went all out for her 30th birthday party on Saturday night, which was dressed up in the theme of iconic red carpets or music videos.
The Little Mix singer certainly wasn’t held back by her own ensemble when she recreated Lil’ Kim’s iconic purple jumpsuit from the 1999 MTV VMAs.
Calling the party the ‘JMAs,’ the star welcomed a host of celebrity guests, all decked out in costumes while channeling their favorite celeb looks.

Jade donned a stunning lilac jumpsuit with one sleeve and a half neckline, leaving only half of her chest hidden.
The outfit, which was almost identical to that of American rapper Lil Kim, featured a single lilac pill in the shape of a seashell on her exposed chest.
Covering her usually brunette locks with a matching lilac wig, the star completed the look with platform stilettos and a glamorous makeup palette.
Posting snapshots of the look on Instagram, Jade wrote that she was “honoring an icon” with the look.

And the task was certainly understood by the guests in attendance, who came like icons from Britney Spears to Mary J. Blige.
Author and influencer Hazel Hayes channeled her inner Madonna in a bouncy blonde wig and structured lace bustier.

The KABBA singer went full throttle in the animal print while recreating Mary J. Blige’s 1996 Grammy Awards look, joking that she was a ‘mini J. Blige.’
And there were not one but three Avril Lavignes in the room, as several guests donned her 2002 camo cargo pants and tie ensemble.

The internet sensation donned a bright blonde wig and wrapped a pink feather boa around her neck to pull off the look.
Max enlisted the help of her boyfriend Andrew when they referred to Ashley’s famous Disney character, Sharpay Evans, and Andrew became the brother of the on-screen character, Ryan (Lucas Grabeel).
