Sky Sports posted images of Haaland on their social media pages to promote the return of the Premier League on December 26.
The video began by showing Haaland walking around Manchester City’s training base alone. He was heard saying: ‘I’ve been working hard while the boys were away. ‘
The video then cuts to Haaland sitting on a physiotherapy bed, looking into the distance. He said, ‘Sometimes…it’s a bit boring.’
The hilarious ad then jumped to Haaland driving across the field on a lawn mower. He was heard to say: ‘But time flies’.
The 22-year-old striker even spent his time getting dressed a training mannequin for a company. He was seen placing a ‘Kevin 17’ T-shirt on the device and speaking to it.
Erling Haaland said he has been working hard during the World Cup but admitted to being bored without most of his Manchester City teammates in a hilarious clip.
Haaland was seen wearing a training dummy and even attempted to call out Jack Grealish.
This was in reference to his impressive partnership with Kevin De Bruyne, who has assisted the Norwegian striker four times this season.
Haaland, who is desperate to get the Premier League back on track, was also seen breaking into one of Manchester City’s meeting rooms during the clip.
He heard laughter and thought that his companions had returned. However, only Micah Richards and Roy Keane were laughing on TV.
Haaland went on to call out Jack Grealish during the clip. But, he didn’t make it through. Instead, he heard the England star’s voicemail: “Okay, it’s Jack, leave a message.”
Despite being bored at home, Haaland wished his teammates the best. He said: ‘Anyway, I hope the guys are doing well, and I hope to see them soon.’
Haaland was seen wearing a mascot head and running in and out of rooms to find his friends.
Haaland was on fire for Manchester City before the break. He has scored 18 Premier League goals in 12 games since he joined City in the summer of 2022.
