Another mockingly said: ‘This is what we’re recruiting now.’

The suspension does not appear to have dampened their romance, as the Post caught Latibeaudiere leaving Solano’s Bronx residence on Saturday morning.

When confronted, he said, ‘I’m not supposed to talk about it. I’m not supposed to talk to the press.

NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell announced earlier this week that she would make changes to discipline guidelines, but loosen them after finding cases that had been “grossly unfair” to police.

Latibeaudiere came to the NYPD after serving in the Marine Corps and studying at Pace University in New York City and joined the force after graduating in May.

In 2019, he gave an interview in which he talked about the difficult jump from military service to getting a job as a civilian.

He told CBS New York: ‘When you’re in the military, they don’t technically prepare you to leave the military. People don’t have the right resume, they don’t know how to translate what they learned in the military into real life skills,” she said during an interview at a veterans job fair.

NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell had just announced earlier this week that she would make changes to disciplinary guidelines to make them less stringent after finding cases that had been “grossly unfair” to police, according to NY1.

She said in a memo, “I don’t want officers to feel they have been unfairly treated, but motivated women and men who are enthusiastic service members who engage effectively with community residents.”
