The Duke of Sussex said he “never” thought British police would withdraw protection from his family after they stepped down as royals.

Harry said that he had reassured his wife on the subject. ‘M asked me: ‘Would you take away our security?’ I told him, ‘They’ll never do that.’

But the duke has launched legal action against the Home Office for his safety in the UK.
