Eerie and emotional images have emerged of The Ellen DeGeneres Show executive producer urging staff to ‘get close’ and not ‘hold the pain’ as he stands in front of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who committed suicide on Tuesday.

In the video, Andy Lassner, the show’s executive producer, tells the staff to check in with each other as they all know what they’re going through.

Lassner urged the program’s staff to reach out to each other and share their grief.

In the video posted on Instagram by Johanna Fuentesa former top communications executive at Warner Bros., Lassner urged the show’s staff to reach out to each other and share their grief.

With Boss standing behind him with fellow producer Mary Connelly, Lassner sympathizes with the staff at the end of the show and the emotional toll it has taken on everyone.

She said she was “devastated” by Boss’s passing, paying tribute to him as “an immense talent who brought joy to every room he walked into.”

Boss, 40, worked on Ellen’s show from 2014 until it ended in 2022 and became an executive producer in 2020.

Fuentes added that she was “devastated” for Boss’s wife, Allison Holker, 34, their three children and their family and friends.

“It was such a bright light,” he added.

Recounting Lassner’s emotional words from the now haunting clip, Fuentes said: ‘Let’s stay close. Don’t stay with the pain, talk to someone. Any.’

Boss was found dead in a room at the Oak Tree Motel in Los Angeles, a 15-minute walk from his Los Angeles home, around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Motel staff said a maid discovered the body of the dancer and DJ while conducting a wellness check after he failed to leave on time.

They said he used his own name to check into the motel on Monday and was not discovered until Tuesday morning.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss was the resident dancer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and sometimes acted as a guest host.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner performed an autopsy and confirmed that Boss had died of ‘self-inflicted; bullet wound to the head.

Motel workers said he “shot himself in the head”, but no one heard the shot, describing the scene as “pretty bad”.

He left home Monday without his car and when he didn’t return Tuesday, his wife frantically ran to a local Los Angeles police station to file a report.

Holker said in a statement to People: ‘It is with the deepest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us.

‘Stephen lit up every room he walked into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light meant everything to him.

“He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.

“To say that he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt.

I’m sure not a day will go by that we don’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for me and especially for our three children.”

“Stephen, we love you, we miss you and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Ellen DeGeneres also released a statement: ‘I am heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family and I loved him with all my heart.

‘I will miss it. Send her love and support to Allison and her beautiful children: Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.’
