She added: ‘Most of that weight is her full head of thick hair (just like her mum) and her luscious plump cheeks. We are so in love and everything is going well.’

Natalia first posted her baby bump to Instagram in August, while reporting for Nine Perth.

The reporter marked the bittersweet moment in November last year, after leaving Nine News Sydney behind to live in Perth.

Posing with Carl Fox and Ezra, Natalia wrote in the caption: ‘And off we go! [Airplane emoji]’.

There were a lot of tears and puffy eyes at the airport this morning. How lucky we are that three of our beautiful friends took us to the airport and gave us a special send-off. [broken heart emoji, love heart emoji].

It arrived hours after Natalia confirmed that she was heading home to Perth with her family after spending nearly a decade in Sydney.

Posting to Instagram, the journalist uploaded a flashback photo of herself presenting at an airport, along with a moving essay about her fond memories working in Sydney.

‘After nine fabulous years at Nine in Sydney I’m packing my bags and heading home to WA to my little family! Interestingly, my last story was at the airport! Hehe,’ she began.

‘It’s been an absolute blast. My work here has taken me across Australia and the world. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people and telling their stories.’

Natalia said she felt lucky to have worked with “some of the best humans” during her time at Nine News Sydney, but is excited to finally return to her old ground in Western Australia.
