Former porn star Mia Khalifa has revealed the strange reason why Socceroos star Aaron Mooy is one of her favorite footballers.
Global icon and Manchester United legend David Beckham tops the list of former adult entertainers, with retired French great Zinedine Zidane coming in second.
Mooy, 32, was also on the podium, due in no small part to his time with Huddersfield Town in the Championship and English Premier League between 2017 and 2020, where he is said to have caught Khalifa’s eye.
Khalifa then bizarrely labeled Mooy, who shone for Australia at the recent World Cup in Qatar, as one of his top picks due to his “similarity” to NBA superstar Kawhi Leonard.
“Aaron Mooy is like the Kawhi Leonard of football,” the 29-year-old said in a recently resurfaced interview.

“He acts like him: he’s a little camera shy, he’s a little goofy, but you never see him.
‘I don’t know, it reminds me of him (Leonard), he seems like a nice guy.’
Khalifa, who was born in Lebanon and became famous in 2014 after wearing a hijab when filming an adult film, revealed that Beckham was an obvious choice “because she was a girl.”
She mocked his high-pitched voice before claiming that Zidane was a rogue in her eyes after his headbutt at Italian defender Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final.
Meanwhile, Mooy has returned to the club with Scotland with Celtic, with the premiership set to resume this weekend.
Global icon David Beckham was Khalifa’s first choice due to his good looks; his voice was another matter.
French great Zinedine Zidane also caught Khalifa’s eye, after headbutting Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final.
Ange Postecoglou’s men are nine points clear of arch rivals Rangers and have scored 50 goals in just 15 games.
A host of other Socceroos are expected to be in action, including Nathaniel Atkinson, Kye Rowles and Cameron Devlin (Hearts), Aziz Behich (Dundee United) and rising star Keanu Baccus (St Mirren).
Former Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Baccus, 24, impressed at the World Cup and is expected to seal a move elsewhere in January.
