A group of teenagers was caught on cell phone video savagely beating another teenager as they walked down a street in Queens.
The fight occurred in the Long Island City area of the New York district around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near LaGuardia Community College and saw a 14-year-old student attacked by a group of angry teenagers.
In several frames of the footage a knife can be seen with the attacker striking his victim repeatedly.

The NYPD later described how the 14-year-old boy was assaulted by five “unknown males” who proceeded to hit the teen multiple times on the head and body.
Incredibly, despite the violence shown, the boy was not stabbed during the brutal assault. However, he was left with bruises along with cuts on his ears and arms.
The suspect who was armed with the shank knife can be seen wearing a backpack with shark teeth printed on the back.
No arrests have yet been made and “the investigation is ongoing,” the NYPD said.
A New York teacher told the New York Post how the fight broke out outside a Department of Education building at 30-20 Thomson Avenue in Long Island City.
The address is home to three high schools consisting of Bard Early College, the High School of Applied Communication, and the Academy of Finance and Enterprise.
As of mid-November, overall crime was up 29.1 percent in New York City from last year, with felony assaults, rapes and robberies in double digits. Murders are down 14.8 percent and shootings 12.5 percent.
Felony assaults are also up nearly 14 percent, with police recording 22,319 cases so far this year, and rapes are up nearly 11 percent.

Hochul was expected to win in a state where there are more than twice as many registered Democrats as Republicans.
But Zeldin made the race competitive, reaching out to Hochul in recent weeks and seeming to encourage her to speak more about public safety.
In this year’s midterm elections, voters vented their frustrations, such as stubborn inflation and a faltering economy, but in New York, concerns about crime took precedence.
