Morocco fans in New York took to the streets to celebrate their win over Portugal on Saturday, when the team posted a 1-0 victory.
The Atlas Lions scored in the 42nd minute through Youssef En-Nesyri’s header and were able to hold on to their lead despite a late red card to Walid Cheddira.
And the team’s fans in the Big Apple were ecstatic with the result, lighting sparklers and celebrating in the streets after the game.
The fans took to the streets of Queens to celebrate the surprising victory over Portugal
Supporters sang songs and commemorated the unlikely victory in the Astoria, Queens, section of town.
