Britney Spears slips into a sexy red bodysuit as she recreates outfit from famous music video

Britney Spears donned a sexy red bodysuit on Friday as she recreated the iconic latex bodysuit she wore in her famous Oops I Did It Again video in 2000.

The singer, 41, showed off her figure in a bodycon dress as she squirmed, showing off a few moves and indulging in a cake in the middle of her birthday week.

It comes after her husband, Sam Asghari, shed light on his wife’s decision to withdraw from social media recently amid speculation that their accounts are being monitored again.

In her latest video, Britney wore the sultry red outfit while doing a Santa Baby dance next to her Christmas tree and covered herself in cake.

She wrote in the caption: 30 seconds to Mars!!! Yes, it’s my birthday all week and I know my Instagram has gone down a few times, but honestly, I did it myself the last couple of times! Oops… I accidentally pushed the wrong button… Damn stupid button!!!

And the jolly Santa Claus is on his way!!! My goal this year is to learn to be as COMFORTABLE with people as they are with me!!!!! I want to go to a wedding this year, grab the microphone, sing a song or two, and fall eight times!

‘It’s my first year in 15 years being treated as an equal and a good God! I didn’t know about this NO RULES THING! Pssss this video is very blurry sorry!! Is it a bit awkward or weird to watch? DUH that’s the point!’.

It comes after her husband Sam shed light on her decision to retire from Instagram earlier this week amid speculation that their accounts are being monitored again.

On Wednesday night, the 28-year-old Iranian-American model asked his wife’s fans to respect her privacy, right now, on her Instagram Story.

‘Social media can be traumatizing. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and she is a free woman. I respect her privacy and protect her at all times,’ she wrote.

He continued: “Thank you to all your protective fans,” he wrote amid fan fears that Britney is not in control of her own social media accounts.

The Hot Seat actor explained that he doesn’t post photos or videos of Spears ’24/7′ out of ‘respect for her privacy’ and asks for permission if he ever does.

‘Because of my work I have to attend many events. It would be an honor if she joins. For her those things are not fun. they are frantic [sic] and full of stress’, he said about why they don’t usually attend red carpets together.

Asghari added: ‘Especially since he’s been doing these things since he was 8 years old. Besides, she has already killed everyone she has visited.

“I have always respected and supported her privacy with everything I have had. I ask you supportive and protective fans to do the same,’ she concluded. “Sometimes being too protective can cause more stress and damage.”

Her post comes after she recently deactivated her Instagram account and drew attention for not joining Asghari on an Instagram Live.

Fans raised their concerns after she could be heard telling him, “I don’t want to jump, I have nothing to say.” I don’t want to talk to them now.

Spears, who has since returned to Instagram, previously deleted her account for the sixth time (the third time in the last four months).

Following the move, the singer raised questions about whether or not Spears herself is in control of her account after sharing a sweet message about her estranged sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.

Spears also deactivated in mid-October, after ranting about how her family treated her during her 15-year conservatorship.

‘My dad always told me I was so fat! I never felt pretty or good enough and I think what made me feel UGLIEST was the FEAR of being afraid of what he would do… I looked uncomfortable, unattractive, not in my skin,’ she said.

Spears added that her father made her feel, “less than a fucking dog,” adding, “I pray you burn in hell, sorry motherfucker!”

The singer also deactivated Instagram at the end of August, although on that occasion she left a message to her fans on Twitter, revealing why she deleted her account.

“I’m learning that every day is a clean slate to try to be a better person and do what makes me happy… yes, I choose happiness today,” she said.

“Every day I tell myself to let go of the hurt bitterness and try to forgive myself and others for what may have been painful,” Spears added.

“I pray that there really is truth in the Holy Spirit and I hope that spirit is with my children as well,” she said of her children, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16.

She added that she was “overwhelmed” with the release of her song Hold Me Closer featuring Elton John, her first new song in six years.

“It’s great that he’s singing with one of the most classic men of our time… @eltonjohn,” he said.
