Gogglebox’s Pete Sandiford reveals his wife Paige Yeomans is expecting their SECOND child

Gogglebox’s Pete Sandiford has revealed that his wife Paige Yeomans is expecting their second child in a sweet on-air ad.

He made the revelation when his song Jimmy joined him and his sister Sophie, 26, on the Friday night episode of the popular Channel 4 show.

It comes after co-star Ellie Warner revealed that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Nat earlier in the episode in the exciting twin baby news for Gogglebox.

Announcing his jovial news, Pete told his young son Jimmy that he was going to have a little brother or sister.

As Sophie hugged and warmed to Jimmy, Pete said, ‘You’re going to have to make the most of the attention Jimbers, now you’re going to have a little brother or sister on the way. You’re going to have to milk it!

To which Sophie said, ‘Yeah, you’re going to be a big brother,’ before both brothers cheered in delight.

Pete and his wife Paige are very private about their relationship, but they got married in a secret ceremony last year at a mysterious location on the beach.

They then became parents for the first time when Paige gave birth to son Jimmy in August 2021.

Speaking of their wedding, Pete previously told OK!: ‘Now I’m married! It was stressful but the best day of my life. Well second best day since I’m a father now too.’

In April 2021, Pete revealed that he and Paige were expecting their first child, sharing the exciting news when his younger sister Sophie shared a scan of her niece or nephew.

As the brothers chatted about the next new addition to their family, Pete exclaimed, “Actually, I’m going to be someone’s dad.”

Handing his sister an ultrasound image, Pete said, ‘Here we go, check this out!’ to which Sophie replied: ‘My niece or nephew. Does she look like me?’, as she held the image of her in front of her face.

His brother joked: ‘No, it will look good. Hopefully she looks like Paige. You are not crazy? In fact, I’m going to be someone’s father.

He added: ‘[Being a dad is] exhausting. Lack of sleep isn’t great, but it’s definitely worth it.

“He’s basically a miniature version of me and Paige and that’s what I always wanted, so I feel very lucky.”

Just a few months earlier, in February, Pete revealed that he was engaged. casually dropping the explosive news that he was getting married to Paige into the conversation on an episode of Gogglebox.

Pete confirmed that he was “going to have a wife” while chatting with his little sister Sophie, telling his brother that she would be his “best woman” at the wedding.

Sophie had asked her brother: ‘Do you feel any different now that you’re engaged?’ to which she replied, ‘Yes, I think… I feel an even greater responsibility. I don’t know why I’m going to have a wife, Pete said enthusiastically.

“Yes, you are going to have a wife,” Sophie repeated.
