Britney Spears’ former hairdresser says she’s ‘a caring mother’ amid estrangement from her sons

Britney Spears’ former hairstylist has praised the singer for being “a loving and beautiful mother” amid estrangement from her children.

Robby, who also styled Cher and Lana Del Rey’s hair, spoke about Britney’s relationship with her children when guardianship was established, MailOnline can exclusively reveal.

He said: ‘She struck me as an absolutely loving and beautiful mother who loves her children so much. That was definitely very apparent the whole time.

Britney, 31, shares Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 44.

The star’s children have not seen their mother for almost six months, and even decided not to attend her June wedding to American-Iranian model Sam Asghari, their father previously revealed to DailyMail.com.

Kevin said last month that “the children have decided that they are not going to see her at this time,” noting that it has been a difficult few months for them since a judge ruled in November ending their 13-year conservatorship.

Hairdresser Robby, who is in a new show called Blowing LA, said: ‘With Britney, we do her hair. This was a few years ago.

“It was one of those pinch me moments. I’ve idolized her all my life and being in her bathroom combing her hair, her children were with her at the time and it was a really lovely moment.

“But it’s sad that at that time she was under guardianship. I mean, we were having some very intimate conversations and then I got a phone call saying, “You can’t be talking to Britney about this, that, and the other.”

‘And I wonder, how could they have heard these intimate conversations in the bathroom?’

He added: ‘She gets her hair done regularly, whether we’re catching up on her roots, doing foils. She posted a cute picture on Gram of us doing her hair.

“But she struck me as an absolutely loving and beautiful mother who loves her children so much. That was definitely very apparent the whole time.

‘And a girl who just wanted to be in love, this was before I met Sam. So I’m happy that she got married and found love and the guardianship is over.

Robby explained: ‘As a person, she was just like everyone else. I mean very loving, very considerate, curious about the world and how it works and what our thoughts were on things, which was nice.

“She’s into astrology, we’re both Sagittarius, so we were able to relate on that aspect.”

“What I took away the most was the incredible mother that she is. One of the kids came in and they were feeling sick and she just held them and rocked them and made sure they felt better. I’ve seen celebrities and high-profile people send her kids to the babysitter and all that, but Britney was a very loving mother, so I love that about her.

Britney has said she feels “a big part of her has died” amid her strained relationship with her teenage children.

In a new audio clip, the superstar, 40, said in the recording, shared on social media on Sunday, that he has lost his purpose now that he is not seeing them.

She said: ‘I used to have my kids at one point, much more than Kevin

“People don’t remember that part because they always focus on the negative. But since they were between six and nine years old, I had them 70% of the time. Since they left, I honestly felt like a big part of me had died.

Britney continued: ‘Like, literally, I don’t have any purpose anymore. They were my joy. They were my everything. I really wanted to see them. That’s what I lived for.

‘And then all of a sudden they were gone. And I was like, “Did my heart stop beating?”

Britney said she doesn’t understand ‘how it’s so easy for them to cut me like that’.

She explained that the reason she posted the recording was that her therapist is only available “usually once a week” and that it’s important to her “to feel like I can share.”

Some time later, she shared another nude post on Instagram after her children said they found them embarrassing.

Britney posts them as a way to show she has power over her own body after her 13-year conservatorship and her modesty was covered in emoji.

She wrote: ‘I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m mad as f**k and no I probably won’t act again just because I’m stubborn and I’ll make my point.

He ended by addressing his father directly: “Look at this picture right here…kiss my fucking mother, you fucking ass, you fucking bastard.”

Naked: Some time later, Britney shared another risqué post on Instagram after her kids said they found them embarrassing, but she posts them as a means of empowerment
