Kelly Clarkson drops LIVE version of Santa Can’t You Hear Me with Ariana Grande

Kelly Clarkson is aiming for the Christmas lists again.

The 40-year-old host of The Kelly Clarkson Show has been heavily promoting Santa’s duet Can’t You Hear Me with Ariana Grande from her holiday 2021 album, When Christmas Comes Around.

They were backed by a vibrant orchestra of string players, choristers, percussionists, and brass.

The airplay of the soon-to-be-hit single has been buoyed by a repeat of the musical extravaganza on December 2 on NBC.

Containing beloved standards like All I Want for Christmas and Under The Mistletoe, along with some original tunes, the album has been nominated for a Grammy Award in Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

The American Idol winner released a well-received compilation of Christmas songs on Wrapped in Red in 2013, but decided to make the 2021 LP after some major changes in her life, including a high-profile divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The former couple share two children, River Rose, eight, and Remington Alexander, six.
