Tony Armstrong says he would love to have children.
The reality TV star, who is a sports anchor on ABC’s morning show News Breakfast, opened up about her strong desire to start a family in an interview with New Idea on Monday.
The 32-year-old former AFL player has just started voicing the turtle teacher ‘Mr Flip’ in the cartoon Reef School, and says the experience has made him think about becoming a father.

“When I was doing it, I would imagine some of the little kids in my life looking at it,” he said.
He added that once his goddaughter Harriet realized that he was the voice behind the character, she became a clucker.
‘She just started to see that I’m on TV and she goes crazy. I would love to have children one day,” she added.

It comes after Tony, who is said to be single, was forced to deny claims that he is secretly married in August to Stellar magazine.
‘If I had a secret wife that I had been hiding all this time, do you think I would tell you?’ she teased herself.
Tony insisted that he’s not against the idea of marriage, but that he won’t sit down with just anyone.

“It has to be someone quite special and I guess I have to be in a space where I can also give them what they need,” he said.
Tony explained that while his career might be at an all-time high right now, he’s adamant not to buy into the hype of fame.
“I’m just trying to remind myself to enjoy the trip and not buy things when they’re good.” And not fully accept it when they are not.
Tony opened up about his personal life during an interview with the herald sun in May, amid rumors that he could be the next bachelor.
“The dumbest thing that’s going around right now is that I’m doing The Bachelor,” he said.
“It’s just not true, but people who aren’t close friends but would have my number and stuff are buying it,” he continued.
