The former England Lioness, who beat Owen Warner and Matt Hancock to be crowned Queen Of The Jungle, landed in Manchester with campmate Sue Cleaver after a long flight from Brisbane.

Accompanied by her fellow campmate Sue, Jill arrived back in the UK after joining the rest of the I’m A Celebrity line-up who had flown home.

It comes after the former footballer admitted the toughest challenge was a month without any contact from her friend Shelly Unitt and says surviving the Australian camp would not have been possible without her unwavering support

Following England’s Euro 2022 win and I’m A Celeb win, Jill says her ‘next plan is to get married’ and following the couple’s 2020 engagement it’s about time they ‘start planning a bit’ .

In her first interview since winning the jungle title, Jill told MailOnline: “We got engaged two years ago and Covid has affected us so I think we need some planning. It’ll be nice.

“We need to sit down and just catch up on the past five weeks and what’s happened, but obviously we’re going to get engaged, the next plan is to get married.”

“I’ve always valued our relationship 100 percent — it’s so hard on the person you’re with and the sacrifices they have to make to go play football and be away for two weeks a month. Shelly’s support goes into this from day one, if I hadn’t I couldn’t have done it, so we’re a good team.

“I’m excited to see what happens in the future, but I don’t think there will be a wedding in the jungle!”

Jill roared to victory on Sunday night after beating politician Matt Hancock, 44, and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, 23, in the grand final of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The trio became close friends after spending three days alone together in the Australian jungle and undergoing gruesome final Bushtucker trials to win lavish last meals at the camp.

Jill was stunned after being crowned queen of the jungle, and when she spoke of her victory on Good Morning Britain on Monday, she mused: sunk!

“It was tough at times, but that “cyclone” challenge was like being a kid again. I really tried to make the most of an incredible experience.”

Her first priority after leaving the jungle was basic hygiene, as she joked, “It took two showers and two baths to smell half decent!” She added that she has no plans for what she will do with her career next.

With campmates not allowed any information or contact with the outside world, Jill revealed she was excited to keep up with England’s progress at the World Cup.

She said: ‘I missed the World Cup so much. Me and Owen begged for the scores and they kept saying “we can’t tell you”! I think they will do well against Wales. I have every confidence. I’m a huge fan of Phil Foden!’

Jill’s victory in the jungle is the perfect end to a busy year for the star, having played on the winning Euros team this summer.

The Lionesses were crowned champions of 2022 in August when they defeated eight-time champions Germany to secure England’s first trophy since 1966.
