Influencer Skye Wheatley has opened up about her ADHD diagnosis and reveals she can now read after struggling as a child.
The 28-year-old YouTuber shared a photo of a document showing various symptoms of her ADHD – attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder – via her Instagram story.
“Well I can read now so that’s the main thing,” she joked with the photo.

The document begins to explain that Skye began to show “signs of academic and social problems in daycare,” as well as “learning difficulties” in her early years in primary school.
In terms of social history, it stated that Skye had a good relationship with her younger sister and made friends “easily”.
But the statement goes on to say that Skye often got involved in “physically hazardous activities” with her brother and fought “viciously” with him.

The document begins to explain that Skye began to show “signs of academic and social difficulties in childcare,” as well as “learning difficulties” in the early years of primary school.
Skye wrote alongside the photo that she never lived with her brother as a child.
‘My brother too? I never lived with my brother,” she added.

It also said Skye struggles to comply with “first commands” 20 to 40 percent of the time.

“I actually think this should be a fact that ADHD people would have more trouble having babies than other normal people because our brains are constantly in overdrive and then you throw a baby into the mix,” she said at the time .

She explained that it’s just chaos going on in her head and admitted that sometimes she feels like her “head is about to explode.”
“It’s just a lot, I just tried to pack my bag because we are going on a little family vacation and I had to pack two bags, one for myself and one for Forest.”

She added, “I’m just giving myself such a hard time. I feel like I’m going, going, going all the time, even though I’m probably not, it’s my brain going, going, going. My brain never shuts down.’
