Kyle Sandilands’ brother Chris makes Brittany Hockley cry live on-air

Brittany Hockley will fill in for Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show in the coming weeks as the radio star takes some time off to recuperate after ill health since contracting Covid-19.

And the former Bachelor star, 34, was left in tears Wednesday morning when Kyle called Sandilands’ trucker brother Chris to tell her how awful she is as a breakfast radio host.

Chris, who is known for being just as outspoken as his older shock jock brother, told the podcaster that he couldn’t stand her voice.

“This is the problem with Brittany, right? Within the first five minutes of being on that show, you turned it from O News to B News,” he said when Kyle, 51, asked why he didn’t like the replacement host.

Chris, referring to Jackie O’s regular news segment, didn’t seem to care that Brittany sat right across from his brother listening to everything he said about her.

The former reality star tried to defend herself saying, “It was just a joke Chris. I wasn’t really trying to make the changes,” but he wasn’t listening.

Chris accused Brittany of not being a ‘team player’ and ‘tried to control the show’

But Chris then accused her of not being a “team player” and “trying to control the show.”

Trying to keep the conversation light, Kyle asked his younger brother to “give Brittany a chance.”

“I gave her a chance. I listened to the show, but yeah, I don’t know. I won’t listen in summer time, that’s for sure,’ Chris replied.

“Well, that’s okay, I’m not worried about that,” Brittany said, sounding dejected but accepting the criticism.

But instead of leaving it at that, Chris proceeded to slam the sound of Brittany’s voice, saying, “And it’s just that podcasting voice you’ve got mate.” I can not take it. It’s not breakfast radio to me.”

The studio fell silent as they processed his comment, with Kyle only issuing a “Wow” before Chris correcting it with, “Your podcast is probably pretty good.”

Kyle agreed that Brittany’s Uncut podcast was “very good” and “award-winning,” but at that point she started crying.

“To be honest, I have nothing else to add to the conversation,” she managed.

Brittany went on with the show after the studio assured her that Chris “hated everyone” and typically treated most people in the studio badly.

But instead of leaving it there, Chris (left) went on to slap the sound of Brittany’s voice, saying, “And it’s just that podcast voice you got mate.” I can not take it. It’s not breakfast radio for me’
