Molly Rainford has claimed that her participation in Strictly Come Dancing has helped bring out her ‘sexy’ side.

The CBBC star, 21, revealed that she has become a dance floor diva after performing sensual routines with her professional partner Carlos Gu, 28, like last week’s Rumba.

She said The sun: ‘Strictly definitely brings out a different side in me, but it was hard not to feel uncomfortable being so sensual and feminine.

“I hope you didn’t expect me to be the kid forever!” Molly Rainford has claimed that her participation in Strictly Come Dancing has helped bring out her ‘sexy’ side

“Of course it was important that this dance was more than a sexy rumba – we also wanted to show this romantic story and the passionate side of us.

“But it was great to show the adult side of me and not just be the kid of the competition. What you see is what you get – I hope you didn’t expect me to be the kid forever.”

It comes after Molly revealed that Carlos banned her from dating on the show.

She explained how he told her that she “shouldn’t skip a single rehearsal to go on a date” and that she “has no time for romance.”

It comes after reports that she had grown close to both Nikita Kuzmin and Tyler West during her time on the show to date.

She said The mirror: ‘Carlos said to me: ”You can’t skip rehearsals to go on a date”.

So I don’t have time for romance. Tyler is a sweet boy. We all get along very well. But we are just training and working hard.’

Earlier this week, Molly brushed off rumors of a behind-the-scenes romance after being linked to two different stars on the BBC show.

Speaking to MailOnline exclusively with her dance partner Carlos, the CBBC star said that due to backstage passion, this year’s lineup was “really boring” following reports that she had grown close to Nikita and Tyler.

Molly, who will dance the rumba this weekend, also hinted that their take on the quintessentially romantic dance will be “more emotional than sexy,” paying homage to relationships with loved ones.

When asked about the infamous Strictly curse, Molly told MailOnline, “It’s so funny because everyone is asked ‘oh what’s the gossip?’ Who doesn’t get along” and I honestly say it’s all they say about the Strictly family, we all get along really well.

‘I do have a changing roommate, that’s Fleur, she’s become like a big sister. I think because she’s done the bottom two a few times, we have each other to talk it out and move forward together, which is nice.”

“I just think it’s so random I like how people try to find it when it’s not happening it’s kind of funny I think maybe because we get along so well they mistake it for something else but it’s really that everyone is really really good friends.”

When grilled about the prospect of a behind-the-scenes romance, the former Britain’s Got Talent star added: ‘No! In that respect we are a very boring series!’

It comes after Molly was rumored to be dating Strictly pro Nikita after the pair were pictured during a cozy display at the National Television Awards.

It was also reported last month that the singer had grown close to Tyler, with sources claiming the pair “put on a flirty show backstage.”

After not being eliminated in last week’s dance-off, Molly and Carlos will take the floor on Saturday with a rumba to Whitney Houston’s All The Man That I Need.

Discussing how training had gone for the show, she said, “The training is going well, it’s definitely harder than I thought it would be the rhumba, I think because it’s slow, it’s a little bit sneaky.” ‘

While the rumba previously earned the title The Dance Of Love, both Molly and Carlos explained that their routine will be an ode to emotional relationships rather than full-blown passion.

“It’s kind of funny, but Carlo obviously tried to explain to me with dance what you have to think about, you’re that character, it’s not about Molly and Carlos, so I’m really trying to use my acting experience to help me get over that initial awkwardness gone,” she said.

“We kind of took this from an angle, it doesn’t have to be about a relationship in that sense, it’s about your relationship with your mom, your dad, your parent, your sibling, whoever means a lot to you , a best friend, so we try to see it from that angle.’

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6:55pm on BBC One and iPlayer. Nova Jones is available on BBC iPlayer and airs Saturdays at 9:05am on BBC Two.
