Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness officially parted ways with their luxury New York City apartment on Friday as they moved their belongings.

The couple enlisted movers to transport their furniture from the $54.2 million (USD $38.9 million) apartment that has been on the market since June.

Dressed for the cold weather, the Wolverine star, 54, stood outside to escort his drivers and movers as they carried boxes to the moving van.

He donned gray sweatpants and a matching winter coat, loosened over a white hoody and black T-shirt, looking every bit as the man in charge as he oversaw the day.

The movie star kept his accessories simple: He wore black prescription glasses and trainers while holding his cell phone nearby.

Meanwhile, his wife of 26 years looked sufficiently robust against the chilly New York weather as she donned a large winter jacket that engulfed her figure.

Deborra-Lee’s 66-year-old jacket hung over her knees and was zipped up to her chin over black sweatpants.

She seemed content as she rolled a motorized scooter down the sidewalk, donning a pair of bright orange and pink sneakers.

The producer’s golden locks fluttered wildly in the wind, barely enclosed in the loose bun she’d piled on top of her head.

They have lived in the posh apartment in midtown Manhattan since 2008.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom triplex, located in the trendy West Village, had a target price of USD $38.9 million (AUD $54.2 million).

Hugh revealed last year that he was homesick for his native Australia after NYC’s extended Covid lockdown.

Deborra-Lee and the couple’s children were initially in Melbourne when the coronavirus was declared a pandemic in March 2019.

But four days later, they returned to the US to keep the family together.
