The influencer, who is known for her style picks, has started hosting a new fashion competition show, Upcycle Nation.

“It’s a fashion contest about repurposing and upcycling old items,” she said KTLA. “Lots of housewares and making new wearable, beautiful pieces.”

“I hope it influences people to understand the effect (fast fashion) on our planet and to get creative and work with old clothes or old household items.”

And for anyone who shudders at the thought of hand-me-downs, the Emmy winner claims they’ll be surprised by the final products.

“We had so many talented designers on the show and they created some beautiful pieces that I would absolutely wear,” the Bel Air actress claimed.

Upcycle Nation debuts on Fuse and Fuse+ on November 2.
