Man United fans rip into Cristiano Ronaldo after bombshell interview with Piers Morgan

Fans have criticized Cristiano Ronaldo for ‘ruining his legacy’ after his criticism of Manchester United and manager Erik ten Hag.

And a third said: ‘Can’t wait for Cristiano to leave, someone will take him. So unprofessional. United play sooooo much better without him.’

The Portuguese star said head coach Erik ten Hag and others want him out of Old Trafford, in excerpts from a 90-minute interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, which will air on TalkTV next week.

When asked if United’s hierarchy was trying to force him out of the club, Ronaldo said: “Yeah, not just the coach, but two or three more guys around the club. I felt betrayed.’

When questioned again if senior club officials were trying to oust him, the 37-year-old said: ‘I don’t care. People should listen to the truth.

“Yes, I felt betrayed and I had the feeling that some people don’t want me here, not only this year but also last year.”

Ronaldo revealed that he disrespected boss Ten Hag, admitting: “I have no respect for him because he shows no respect for me. If you don’t respect me, I’ll never respect you.’

Ronaldo also claimed that United had not progressed as a club since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013.
