Ferne McCann accused of ‘disgusting’ comments about Arthur Collins’ acid attack victim

Ferne McCann has been accused of making ‘disgusting’ comments about one of the victims of an acid attack from ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins in newly leaked voice memos.

An anonymous Instagram account leaked the footage, which features a female voice calling one of the imprisoned criminal’s victims a “stupid b***h.”

The ex of the former TOWIE star is currently serving 20 years in prison after he threw acid at an east London nightclub in April 2017, injuring 14 people.

Collins – the father of Ferne’s daughter Sunday, age five – was convicted of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent, and nine counts of actual bodily harm against 14 people.

A new audio clip released Wednesday by the anonymous ladywhistledown195 Instagram account reportedly features a woman talking about one of Collins’ victims, Sophie Hall, who is competing in a beauty pageant.

“I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, the stupid bitch made a dress… A papier-mâché dress from the press clippings of the event,” the woman says.

The following story on the Instagram account, which has 49,000 followers, was captioned: “Voice note 5/39. This is the real Ferne talking about the acid victims.

“It is disgusting and despicable that she was ever able to talk about innocent victims. What a shame of a woman.’

The woman says in the voice note, “She will probably win. I’m not going to lie just because of the event and the awards she entered or the beauty pageant, whatever it is.

“They probably love all this free press for their event, so they’ll probably fix it, she’ll win it,” you hear the woman say.

The account added another message stating that they will be releasing more voice notes in the next 24 hours.

Sophie bravely bared her scars as she reached the final in the Miss England competition in August 2018, just 15 months after the nauseating attack.

She has permanent memories on her shoulders, arm and face.

Reaching the finals of the prestigious beauty pageant, Sophie, then 22, was photographed showing off her assets in a red bikini, but most importantly, hugging the scar on her left shoulder.

“This is me fighting back and staying strong,” she’d said.

“I want them to know that we should be proud of our scars because they remind us how strong we are.”

Sophie had said she still had panic attacks and often “hysterical” after the attack.

She also said on Good Morning Britain: ‘The (acid) actually got me off my seat so it was like someone had physically punched me because it knocked me and I fell to the floor.

Sophie was on a friend’s birthday last April when Arthur attacked her and 16 other revelers.

“It felt like I was on fire and it took me a few minutes to realize it was sour.”

The former Poole child model said she entered the contest because she wanted to be seen as more than a victim of an acid attack.

“I wanted to make a positive impact and maybe inspire people and not only build my confidence but help other victims who might be struggling and show that you can still go on and achieve great things.

“There’s so much to overcome and I’ve found that there are a lot of rounds in this competition that you have to participate in and it’s helped me rebuild different parts of my life – it’s helped me a lot.”

Ferne representatives have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

The Instagram account that released the voice notes was suspended after Ferne reported it to police when it allegedly released messages from Ferne in which she described her former TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers, 31, a “fat c***” and ‘narcissistic b**ch’.

Sam and Ferne, who co-starred in The Only Way Is Essex, were friends for over 20 years before the drama.

Ferne is reportedly devastated by the leaked notes and “can’t stop crying” as she has received comments online from fans after the audio appeared to show she was calling Sam a “fat bastard.”

‘Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today,’ the post continued – cutting to other clips that allegedly describe Sam, Ferne said: ‘The kind of girl she is, she’s just a narcissistic bitch, she won honestly doesn’t matter.’

The voice messages are said to have been sent by Ferne to a friend on WhatsApp in June, just a month after Sam gave birth to her third baby, Edward.

But sharing that Ferne “don’t know what to do,” a source explained: “She’s in a living nightmare and wants this to stop. People don’t know all the facts. All eyes are on what might appear next on this Instagram account.”

“If those voice memos were made by Ferne, that’s incredibly damaging. She is currently seen as a little poisonous. No one can believe she would say such things.’

Sam unfollowed Ferne on Instagram during the drama, with her sister Billie reportedly calling her former co-star to find out about the situation.

According to The sunFerne contacted Essex police last month to see if they could locate the anonymous person behind an Instagram account who shared the shocking voice notes.

A source at the time said: ‘Ferne was visited by police on Thursday evening after her life was turned upside down by a fake account that launched a malicious smear campaign against her.

“Agents spent a few hours with her and assured that they are prioritizing this case and following the responsible parties.

“After taking statements, the police are currently tracing the whereabouts of the fake account. The Online Safety Bill was discussed as they curb cybercrime.”

The voice messages also reportedly show Ferne lashing out at Sam’s sister Billie, saying it was “weird” that Billie decided to name her son Arthur – the name of Ferne’s ex, with whom she shares a daughter on Sunday.

The voice message says, “It feels so weird to say ‘Arthur’ I can’t believe it, it’s like having a little boy and calling him Greg anyway, whatever.”
