This is the moment an actress in an escape room was a little too convincing after she burst in to scare a group – and got punched by a terrified player.
Rina Runenko works at the experience in Tambov, Russia, as part of a cast that aims to scare participants senseless.
Footage shows Rina running into the small room as the players read clues on a table.
She scares one of the players so much, he punches her hard in the face and she drops to the floor.
The fall caused her to suffer a bruised shoulder, hand, elbow and thigh.
When Rina’s boyfriend came in and asked what was going on, the man denied hitting her.
He only admitted it when he saw the footage and claimed he did it because he did not want the children he was with to be scared.

Rina explained later that the game was late and booked by a girl who asked if she could go with children.
She said: ‘I said, if you are a responsible person, then you can, but they can be scared, even though the quest is contactless.’
Rina said that they seemed like a positive team and that she could hear they were scared when they first went in.
So she decided to go in and said: ‘Oh, I thought, ‘Cool, now I’ll give them a show.
‘I jump in there, walk over the bridge. I open the door to run in – and the last thing I remember is I’m flying, because a fist is flying at me.’

She explained that her boyfriend came in and said: ‘What are you doing?’ And the man who hit me replied, ‘I didn’t do anything.
‘They showed him [the footage that was caught] on the cameras, he understood that there was no denying it and said, ‘I did it so that the children would not be frightened.’
The incident is being investigated by police but Rina has asked that the teenager who hit her during the game is not prosecuted.
Russian police said in a statement: ‘We were contacted by a girl who was injured during the incident in the quest room.
‘She wrote a statement in which she indicated that she had no claims against the offender and asked not to take action against this person.’
