Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he once turned down a whopping $34 million (USD) for another Rambo movie in the 1980s.
Speak with The Hollywood Reporter this week, the Hollywood star, 76, said he regrets his decision.
The Rocky Balboa star called herself an “idiot” for turning down the incredible salary, which would now amount to about $85 million due to inflation.

“We were working on Rambo III. We thought it was going to be the biggest hit – this was before it came out. And I got a fortune for it. Then they say, ‘We want Rambo IV. Here it is: pay or play, 34.” I go, “Let’s not jump on the gun here…”
He then called himself an “idiot” for turning down the salary.

‘For real. That’s no joke. Oh guys, what an idiot. Now I think about that and… wow.’
However, Sylvester is well aware of his success at the box office and tells the publication that he is one of the few actors to have starred in a film that has topped the box consecutively for the past six decades.
“The shark counts,” he joked.
Sylvester portrayed the character John Rambo in five films in the hit franchise, including 2019’s Rambo: Last Blood, which received mediocre reviews from critics.

Last month, devoted Rambo fans flocked to the city where it was filmed in Canada to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The district of Hope, a town of less than 7,000 inhabitants located in the middle of the Cascade Mountains about two hours east of Vancouver, was also the fictional town of Hope in Washington State before the 1982 film.
Sylvester has also starred in films including The Expendables and Creed.
