A Qantas plane has had to make an emergency landing at Sydney airport after it caught fire mid-flight.
It is understood that all 20 passengers on board the Qantas Link Dash-8 aircraft were evacuated safely and no one was injured.
The plane was flying from Lord Howe Island, in the Tasman Sea, to Sydney Airport when the brake lining caught fire during descent.

There was no smoke in the cabin.
The plane landed safely and the fire was extinguished. The fire brigade, ambulance and ambulance personnel are on site.
