Aaron Carter was a ‘nightmare neighbor’ at the California house where he passed away

Aaron Carter was a nightmare that only DailyMail.com can report.

“I’m sad what happened and that he passed away. I wish he could have just sold his house and left, but now we don’t have to worry about it,” said a neighbor.

It was a bad situation for the neighborhood the day he moved, the disgruntled neighbor said.

Records show that the singer purchased the 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom home in November 2020 for $620,000 in Lancaster, California, 70 miles northeast of Los Angeles. His house is currently for sale for $799.900.

“Aaron had problems with several neighbors on his street, at least three of them called the police,” the neighbor said, who did not want to be named for fear of reprisals from his fans.

“Aaron was just arrogant, he thought he was better than everyone else around. He would brag about having better vehicles and that his house was bigger than most in the area.

There was always a commotion from the house. You could hear Aaron and his girlfriend on and off again, Melanie arguing all hours of the day. “Every few months we saw police outside his house.”

On several occasions, Aaron locked Melanie outside his house, after a screaming match, and she banged on the door and yelled “let me in.”

When Aaron wasn’t fighting Melanie, he harassed his neighbors by blasting his music and opening his windows. “You could hear the music from several houses away.”

A neighbor knocked politely on his door one day and Melanie answered. She was asked if they could turn off the music. Melanie said she would pass the information on to Aaron. Minutes later Aaron banged on the neighbor’s door and started yelling at the neighbor, calling her a c**t and ab***ch. Another person in the house told Aaron to leave their property. The police were called and Aaron tried to tell the police that the neighbor had assaulted him. No arrests were made.

Aaron got into an argument with an elderly neighbor one day, yelling at him, calling him an “old man and to suck his dick.”

Aaron had a Dalmatian dog that he was constantly hitting and yelling. One day the dog was gone.

“Every neighbor has that ‘neighbor’ that you deal with, he was that ‘neighbor’.

“I’m sorry he left his young child behind. He clearly had his problems and demons. It’s a shame he passed away, I wouldn’t wish that at any time, but I’m glad he’s not around us anymore.’

Just a week before his death, Carter tweeted that he was selling his house for $800,000, noting that he was looking for a “new chapter.”

“Selling my 2nd house,” Carter wrote on Oct. 29. “Real estate has been super good for me. Ready for a new chapter in my third home, where I want to stay to build a beautiful life for my family.”

“This year was super tough, but I learned so much,” he added. “Thanks for the support everyone.”

The massive seven-bedroom, four-bathroom home features a custom outdoor pool, walk-in closet, huge fireplace and is surrounded by palm trees.

The listing reads: ‘Looking for your own private oasis! This beautiful home offers numerous improvements. This paradise features a custom IGG pool and spa, surrounded by terraced landscaping with palm trees, lush.”

“The interior of the house features in-demand amenities such as laminate flooring, upgraded light fixtures, recessed lighting, vaulted ceilings, large windows, and custom interior paint,” it continues.

Carter was found dead in the home’s bathtub on Saturday after being discovered by his house sitter.

She reportedly ran out of the house and said, ‘He’s dead! He is dead!’

Witnesses described a “chaotic” scene at the singer’s home, with police cars, news vans and people crowding the streets to see what was happening.

Police say Carter drowned, but would not say how the tragedy happened.

Opening for the Backstreet Boys on a tour in 1997, Carter rose to fame in the 90s by releasing four studio albums, starting with his self-titled debut album in 1997 when he was just nine years old.

A good friend of Carter told the american sun that they believe he did not commit suicide, said he had studio sessions with artists scheduled for an album the following week.

Carter had also told the friend that he was “excited” to present new music and work with artists who traveled to Los Angeles specifically for a duet.

“Any suggestion that he was suicidal last night while interacting with his friends and team is wrong,” the friend said. “Hearing the news this morning was absolutely devastating.”

Since January 2020, Carter had an on-again, off-again relationship with former fiancé Martin, who gave birth to Prince in November 2021. In August, he confirmed in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com that the two were no longer in a relationship and had ended their romance for good.

However, Martin was visibly upset outside Carter’s home on Saturday and released a statement calling him her “fiancée.”

“My fiancé Aaron Carter passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it will be a journey to raise a son without a father. Please respect my family’s privacy when dealing with the loss of someone we love very much. We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.’

Earlier this year, Carter filed custody of their son and a petition for protection against Martin at the Antelope Valley Courthouse in Los Angeles County.

In a lawsuit, he accused his ex of “emotional terror, fear, pushing and scratching,” claiming she used the threat of suicide to “emotionally abuse” him.
