EXCLUSIVE: Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra of The Block reveal the brutal consequences of their Auction Day disaster: A divided couple flee Melbourne for a fresh start after their home doesn’t sell

Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra of The Block pack their bags and leave Melbourne after their home went up for auction last weekend.

The couple, considered to be the most controversial team of this year’s season, are moving to their family farm in South Australia after failing to find a buyer to renovate their Macedon Ranges during Sunday’s final.

‘We need a vacation. We’re going to take a 100 percent break and then re-evaluate what we want to do next year,” Sharon, 35, told the Daily Mail Australia.

“I think we’re going to try and go back to South Australia, where we’re from, and spend time on the family farm in the vineyards and just have a good time.”

“I grew up on a farm and I love it, and my future will always be on a farm. We’re just figuring out when,” the former Neighbors star added.

Sharon revealed the couple will “probably try to have a baby next year, and then when we have a slightly bigger family, we’ll move 100 percent full-time to the farm.”

Although she likes to live in the city, Sharon said her long-term plan has always been to move to the countryside.

As for her future career prospects, she is looking for a start in interior design when she is not acting or auditioning.

Sharon also confirmed that her husband Ankur still works as a director at his financial firm, having in fact been “promoted twice since the show.”

This is despite his accountant skills being questioned by host Scott Cam and foremen Dan Reilly and Keith Schleiger.
