  • Princess Diana’s nieces also attended the exclusive party in London’s Soho

Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones paid tribute to her grandmother Princess Margaret when she arrived at Tatler’s Little Black Book party in London in a gorgeous white faux fur coat.

The 20-year-old – who is the daughter of The Earl of Snowdon and his ex-wife Serena Armstrong-Jones – gave a nod to one of her paternal grandmother’s most famous outfits for her night out in Soho on Thursday.

Pictured on arrival at cabaret and cocktail bar The Windmill, the Oxford Brookes student looked sensational in a silver sequined mini dress with a plunging scoop neckline.

Lady Margarita opted for a silver smokey-eyed look, styling her blonde hair in loose waves and completing her look with a pair of black heels and a jacket reminiscent of one her late grandmother owned in the 1950s.

Michael Kors’ custom creation appears to be based on a piece of clothing worn by a then 21-year-old Princess Margaret to Captain Horatio Hornblower’s 1951 premiere.

The glamorous film premiere took place on April 12, 1951 in Leicester Square – just a stone’s throw from where the princess’s granddaughter spent the night in Soho earlier this week.

Under her fur coat, the late princess – who died of a stroke in 2002 – wore a long-sleeved V-neck dress embellished with pink sequins.

71 years later, Lady Margarita – second cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry – gave every aspect of her grandmother’s outfit a deliberate modern twist, completing the ensemble with a pair of thin gold hoop earrings.

The royal fashionista seems to have inherited the creative skills of her carpenter father and is currently studying to become a silver jewelry designer.

The 20-year-old was famously one of Kate Middleton’s four flower girls during her 2011 wedding to Prince William – alongside Prince William’s goddaughter Grace van Cutsem, the groom’s cousin Lady Louise Windsor and the granddaughter of Queen Consort Eliza Lopes.

Lady Margarita wasn’t the only royal to attend Tatler’s exclusive bash – as Lady Eliza and Amelia Spencer also appeared.

Lady Eliza shone in a glittering gold turtleneck dress with an asymmetrical hem.

The niece of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, carried a gold purse to match her dress and opted for a pair of heels with mirrored straps in the same colour.
