Helen Flanagan is “planning to make an epic return to Coronation Street next year” – following her “split” from fiancé Scott Sinclair.
The 32-year-old actress, who is best known for playing Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, quit the show in 2018 when she welcomed her third child with long-term partner Scott.
A source told The sun Helen “missed” her soap opera family and played the character, and with nothing holding her back, she feels this could be the perfect time for a return.

The source said: ‘Helen is talking about plans to return – not this year, but maybe late next year.
Bosses have made it clear that they would welcome her back and she sees the soap as family.
The insider added: “What held her back before was caring for her children and Scott’s football career – she never knew where he would sign or where they would live.
“But now that she’s single, she talks a lot about going back to Corrie — she hasn’t had any official meetings yet, but it’s something she’s talking about.”
The actress had been on the soap for over twenty years after being cast in her role as Rosie Webster at the age of ten.
MailOnline has reached out to Helen’s representatives for comment.

It comes after she reportedly split from her fiancé Scott Sinclair because her engagement ring broke and she felt it was a bad omen.
Helen and the professional footballer, 33, recently broke off their engagement and the news was revealed last week.
An insider has claimed that when Helen’s ring broke, she sought help from a psychic medium, believing the incident was a “sign.”
The source told the Sun: ‘Helen’s engagement ring broke earlier this year. She loves all things spiritual and felt like she was seeking guidance from a psychic medium.
“Helen and Scott really tried to work on their relationship, but in the end she saw the ring break as a bad omen and a sign that she shouldn’t get married.”
Helen was away for the weekend, pushing her drama aside as she celebrated Halloween weekend with friends during the breakup.

Over the course of the week, she dropped an important hint about her state of mind on Instagram on Wednesday after the split.
She shared some glamorous photos of herself in a dainty blue corset mini dress and wrote: ‘Keep it classy always @lavishalice.
Helen has yet to publicly address the rumors that she has broken up with her footballer partner, the father of her three children, after a 13-year romance.
However, she shared a cryptic post in August about starting ‘a new chapter’ where she was pictured not wearing her engagement ring for the first time.

Concerns were raised over Helen’s relationship with Bristol Rovers footballer Beau Scott, after it was alleged that the relationship was ‘on the rocks’.
And it looks like she’s hinting at new beginnings over two months ago on her Instagram page, where she shared snaps of her with her kids celebrating her birthday — but with no ring in sight.
On August 9, Helen wrote the message to her 1 million followers: ‘Happy weekend to celebrate my 32nd birthday and a new chapter.’
Helen was also pictured last Monday not wearing her engagement ring when she arrived for the Pride Of Britain Awards, nor while walking the red carpet.
She hasn’t worn her diamond ring in public in a month, including at the National Television Awards last week and at Jorgie Porter’s baby shower on Sunday.

The pair have apparently spent a lot of time apart since the summer as Scott built up his fitness with Chelsea at their training ground in Cobham, Surrey.
Last week Scott sealed a return to his youth club Bristol Rovers until the end of the season after being released from Preston North End meaning he will likely be 180 miles from his family home in Cheshire.
Helen’s representative declined to comment when MailOnline approached him.
A source told MailOnline: “Helen and Scott have been testing for a few months.
“Uncertainty about Scott’s football career and the fact that they haven’t been able to spend much quality time together has put a strain on their relationship.
“The children are their world and most important priority, and they will always make sure that nothing touches them.
“Helen has brought herself out. It’s very common in her career and she won’t let problems in her personal life get her down.”
