The last Kardashian function he attended was the family’s Hulu series premiere seven months ago.
But that doesn’t mean Scott Disick hasn’t stayed in touch with the famous brood.
The reality star, 39, was seen catching up with Kim Kardashian, 42, at dinner at Woodland Hills restaurant Il Fernaio with a camera crew from The Kardashians capturing the entire scene.

Kim and Scott kept the conversation to a minimum as they crossed the street together, bundled up from head to toe.
Scott buried his hands in his thick North Face coat as he walked into the night in camo-print pants and shiny sneakers.
The CEO of Talentless had his hair neatly slicked back over his head and sported a smart, handsome beard.

Kim was not missing when she pulled out another edgy look for the occasion.
All eyes were on the social media sensation in her stylish black trench coat, worn over azure blue leggings that slid down her heels.
She hid her eyes with some bold black tones and wore her platinum hair in a center part with long textured waves.

As if her looks weren’t over the top enough, she wore a fur wallet that made a statement.
Not pictured was Scott’s ex, Kourtney Kardashian.
The couple were together for years and even have three children together: Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, seven.
But lately Scott’s presence on the family show has waned amid Kourtney’s romance with her new husband Travis Barker, whom she married earlier this year.

Scott featured prominently in six of the 10 episodes of season one of The Kardashians, but he didn’t appear until season two until the fourth episode last month.
Last season, Scott opened up about the pain of being banned from family gatherings.
After learning that the Kardashians had organized a barbecue but didn’t invite him, Scott confessed that he’d rather be with his ex Kourtney, her new sweetheart Travis, and the rest of the family “than not at all.”

“The feeling of being left out and not being told anything is super hurtful, especially when I don’t have another family to go to,” Scott said.
Scott admitted that he always had hopes that they would get back together and was even assured by friends and family that a reconciliation would be in the future.
“I always had her friends or our family in my ear, like, ‘Don’t worry, honey, eventually you’ll find out and one day you’ll get back together.” My foot was always halfway to the door,” Scott explained.

He described Kourtney going from “best friend” to co-parent “probably one of the hardest things in my life.”
But despite no longer having her romantically in his life, Scott was happy to see his ex happy.
“I felt like I had done her so much wrong for so many years, I felt super guilty and felt that if she ever needed me, for whatever reason, I would be there to make it up to her ‘, he said.
‘Kourtney has’ [the] right to despise me and the way I treated her, because it was horrible.’

The Kardashians also noticed that Scott’s exclusion from the barbecue were his biggest fears in real life.
“It’s everything he’s always feared: ‘I don’t have a family, you’re my only family,’ and now it’s coming true,” Kim Kardashian noted.
But Kourtney was less forgiving: “Hold on guys, Scott and I have been separated for seven years and I gave him ten years before that. So why is everyone making such a point of it?’ she said to cameras. “Let’s just not hate a girl who finally knows what she deserves.”
